No two bodies are the same, so in your first class you'll undergo a complete appraisal of your current abilities. This session takes the full hour and helps set benchmarks and targets for the rest of the course.
The remaining classes will systematically introduce you to the most common poses you'll encounter in most Yoga classes.
When poses are first introduced, you'll be given significantly more cues (and hands-on adjustment) than standard studio classes, helping you to understand the important aspects of each pose.
By the end of the course, the classes will more closely resemble a "flow," with fewer cues (and more chance to practice what you've learned).
Make maximum progress with maximum attention.
In private classes, you are the focus. Progress with a personal coach is typically much faster when compared to studio classes.

Beverly Chan took her first step onto a Yoga mat in 2018.
For the first time since her university dance team, she felt consumed by a desire to find a more balanced lifestyle, quickly logging over 500 hours of studio classes in her first two years practicing.
In 2020, she left her career to enroll in a 200 hour RYT-certified training course under Master Samrat Dasgupta.
Beverly now teaches private and studio classes. Be careful, her passion and excitement for Yoga is highly contagious!
